Ever since the news of the Titan submersible which carried tourists to see the wreck of the Titanic went missing, the whole world was shocked. Everyone prayed the vessel should be detected and people in it should be brought back. A joint rescue operation was launched into this. Even aircrafts were also made a part of this.
Unfortunately, the hard work did not pay off as people on the vessel were dead. There are as many as five people on the vessel. Earlier, an aircraft detected banding sounds from the location where the vessel went missing. This gave hope that the vessel would be found safe. But that did not happen.
As the vessel which was on a trip to see the wreck of Titanic faced tragedy, many have the doubt of what went wrong with the trip. The remains of the vessel were found by a robot in the deep sea. However, no human remains were found as of now.
Sharing the bad news, the officials said that a catastrophic implosion is the reason behind the disaster. The pressure chamber of the vessel was completely damaged. It could not face the pressure of the ocean.
Catastrophic implosion is a condition that results in a vessel collapsing with too much pressure. As the vessel was deep in the sea, the pressure will be quite high there making it too much for the vehicle to face. Unable to bear the pressure, it collapsed.
The remains of the vessel were found 1,600 feet from the bow of the Titanic. With this, we can understand how deep the vessel was in the sea and how much pressure the vessel might have faced.
A few days back, a vessel carrying Stockton Rush(OceanGate Expeditions CEO), British Billionaire Hamish Harding, Shahzada Dawood, his son Suleman and Titanic expert, Paul-Henri Nargeolet.
For the past few days, the rescue operation has been going on and the teams involved gave their best efforts. Aircraft were also roped in. It was the aircraft with special sensors that detected the bandaging sounds. When the sounds were detected many felt that the rescue would be easy. Unfortunately, the opposite happened.
