Tollywood actress Syamala finds herself at the center of controversy after rumors surfaced linking her to a recent rave party busted by police in a Bengaluru farmhouse. This incident follows similar allegations against actress Hema.
Multiple YouTube channels circulated unsubstantiated claims of Syamala’s presence at the party alongside other celebrities. Syamala has vehemently denied these accusations, asserting her complete detachment from the event. She has also announced legal action against the media outlets and YouTube channels that spread these false rumors, which she claims have tarnished her reputation.
Syamala maintains that she was not even in Bangalore during the timeframe when the rave party took place. She further alleges that the accusations are part of a deliberate smear campaign orchestrated by certain political entities.
The Karnataka Police are actively investigating the rave party, which involved the seizure of illegal drugs. Their inquiry also explores the possibility of a sex racket operating alongside the drug activity. Five individuals have been arrested in connection with the case, and the investigation has been transferred from the Electronics City Police Station to the Narcotics Wing of the City Central Crime Branch (CCB) for further investigation.
Reports suggest that the rave party attracted over 200 attendees, with some paying a hefty Rs 2 lakh entry fee disguised as a birthday celebration. Authorities suspect the organizers were also involved in a sex racket, catering meticulously to the participants’ requests.
The State Home Minister, Dr. G Parameshwara, has reiterated the government’s firm stance against drugs in Karnataka. He condemned such rave parties and issued a stern warning to students against drug use. The ongoing police investigation is looking into all attendees of the “Sunset to Sunrise Victory” rave party, which reportedly offered drugs like MDMA, cocaine, and marijuana. Attendees are said to include tech professionals, Telugu actors, and others.
