With the rumours of Prabhas’ mythological drama ‘Adipurush’ getting postponed, the Sankranti season is tailormade for senior heroes Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna to take the box office by storm. While Thalapathy Vijay and Akhil are arriving with their respective films during the same time, the main focus will be on Chiranjeevi’s ‘Waltair Veerayya’ and Balakrishna’s ‘Veera Simha Reddy’.
Mythri Movie Makers are producing both Chiru and Balayya’s films. Sources say that the production house has decided on the release dates of both these mass entertainers. According to the reports, ‘Waltair Veerayya’ directed by Bobby Kolli will be hitting the marquee on 11th January while NBK’s ‘Veera Simha Reddy’ directed by Gopichand Malineni will be arriving on 12th January. This will leave a gap of one day enabling both the films to get good openings. Apparently, the distributors have been already informed regarding this and the official announcement is what has to come out.
Dil Raju is waiting for Mythri Movie Makers to make it official as he is aiming to release Vijay’s ‘Varasudu’ either on 11th January or 13th January. Akhil’s movie will also be deciding their date once Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna’s films finalize the release dates. Let us wait for a few more weeks to get the official information.
‘Veera Simha Reddy’ has popular Kannada actor Duniya Vijay will be seen as the antagonist in this movie while Varalakshmi Sarathkumar is playing a key role. Glamorous lady Shruti Hassan is going to be the female lead in this project. The teaser got a phenomenal response.
‘Waltair Veerayya’ is going to be a mass bonanza as per the film’s unit and with Ravi Teja playing a full-length role, the audience are going to have a blast seeing the ‘Annayya’ combo together on the big screens again. Rockstar Devi Sri Prasad is composing music for a Megastar’s film once again after ‘Khaidi No. 150’. Shruti Hassan is the heroine in this film too.
