Even as the suspense on the submission of resignation letter to Assembly Speaker continued, former TDP leader and MLA A Revanth Reddy has stopped availing all the facilities and benefits entitled as an legislator in the Telangana Assembly.
Revanth informed Assembly Speaker S Madhusudhna Chary that he will not avail monthly salary, allowances and other perks from this month. He also requested the Secretary to cancel the quarters allotted to him at old MLA quarters.
Soon after he joined Congress in the presence of AICC Vice President Rahul Gandhi on October 31, Revanth spoke to the Speaker and requested the latter stop crediting emoluments into his account. However, It was not clear whether Revanth submitted his request in written to the Speaker.
The Congress leader already met Vikarabad Superintendent of Police (SP) requesting him to withdraw security. In a quick reaction, gunmen and a security man was withdrawn to the leader.Leaders of all parties are also waiting eagerly whether Revanth submit resignation letter to Speaker or not. Eom
