The Congress party is in the hunt for a suitable leader to lead the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee(TPCC). Efforts and plans are underway to appoint the new boss as soon as possible.
Amid this interesting race for TPCC post, key Congress leaders like Malkajgiri MP Anumula Revanth Reddy and Bhongir MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy left for Delhi to meet the Party chief Sonia Gandhi.
Komatireddy Venkat Reddy met Sonia Gandhi in Delhi and he is believed to have requested the party chief to make him the TPCC chiefs lead the party in the state. During the meeting, the MP briefed Sonia Gandhi about the situation in the state.
Revanth Reddy, who is also said to be one of the aspirants of the TPCC post is scheduled to meet former Congress chief and Sonia Gandhi’s son Rahul Gandhi today at his residence.
