Noted filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma has on Tuesday fired at media for projecting Akun Sabarwal as a Baahubali and said that the ongoing investigation is tarnishing Chief Minister KCR’s image & brand Hyderabad as well.
With a view to stand by his troop of members that include Puri Jagannadh, Subbaraju, Charmee Kaur and others, the maverick filmmaker has been continually posting his views in this regard- a petition has also been filed against for doing so.
In a attempt to convey that the ongoing scandal is painting a bad image for new Telugu state and Hyderabad city, RGV said in a Facebook post- ‘Bahubali 2 is highest reputation of Tel State-Drug scam is lowest reputation of Tel state.’
We all know the reach of SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali (Telugu film) and it is needless to discuss about it but does the ill-reputation caused by drugs scam in city is as big as that film? -although RGV sparked it in his own style, it could trigger for debate in industry! That’s not all – director RGV further stated that Hyderabad is becoming more infamous that Punjab after the recent drugs scandal is out.
As far as investigation is concerned, actress Charmee Kaur attended the SIT’s interrogation on Wednesday and it will be continued till 5PM.
