YSR Congress Party leader and MLA RK Roja is more attached to the highest TRP rating programme- Jabardasth than her political career. She has been one of the moderator for the Comedy show on a Telugu TV channel.
At the get together programme attended by all Jabardasth comedians telecasted on Dasara festival, Roja claimed her victory in 2014 elections was because of the popularity she gained through the Comedy show only. After her film career ended, Roja said the TV show helped to emerge as a big celebrity.
At one point, Roja broke down in the show for her close attachment with the show and also the actors in the programme. Despite heavy stress in the politics, she could manage happy life only through the programme, the film actor turned politicial leader turned TV host said clarified that she will give first priority to Jabardasth over politics.
