Our readers are aware that director Srinu Vaitla’s wife, Roopa had filed a harassment case against her husband with Banjara Hills Police. However they seem to have arrived at a compromise. Roopa now denies filing any such case on her husband. However Banjara Hills Police say that there is a case filed.
“There is nothing like case on my husband. All this is media creation. Please leave us alone”, Roopa Vaitla said. Banjara Hills Police say Roopa’s lawyer approached them to withdraw the case but they could not do that as the FIR is registered. And now the couple have to attend the court.
This issue tarnished the image of Srinu Vaitla big time as sympathy rest with woman in most such cases. More over, the issue came at a time when Srinu Vaitla’s career is in severe doldrums after delivering two back to back disasters – Aagadu and Bruce Lee.
