YSRCP rebel member and Narasapuram MP, Raghu Ramakrishna Raju, fled to Delhi from Hyderabad, fearing an arrest by the Andhra Pradesh police. He came to Hyderabad on Friday, attended a book release in Ravindra Bharati, and was set to stay in Hyderabad until Monday. However, after noticing a suspicious person moving around his house, the MP is said to have fled to Delhi, cutting his trip to Hyderabad short.
The vehicle number of the person roaming in front of RRR’s house in Gachibowli was taken note of, which was when it came to be known that he belongs to the AP police. After fleeing Hyderabad, RRR wrote a letter to the PM, seeking protection, alleging that the AP government is harassing him. He also sent a reminder to the Lok Sabha speaker on the Privilege notice given by him against the AP police, specifically the CID.
RRR has escaped from the AP police two times previously, the fir time being when he escaped from the Military hospital and in January this year, when he left his Hyderabad house during Pongal, withdrawing his plans to visit his native Bhimavaram.
