YSRCP member and Narasapuram MP, Raghu Ramakrishna Raju seems to not be interested in resting ever. He’s always grabbing opportunities to stay in the news, by passing some controversial comment or the other, against his own party, and its leader.
In a recent statement, RRR said that the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Y.S.Jagan Mohan Reddy seems to never have time to meet with him, as he’s not been able to get the CM’s appointment for a really long time now. It was pretty evident that RRR was being very sarcastic with his statement. Ironically, at the same time, RRR was also praising the CM, saying that he won the elections based on Jagan’s charisma, and that he would give 90% credit to his leader, and only claim 10% of it to himself.
RRR started to upset the government of Andhra Pradesh when he went on to make opposing statements on every decision that the government was taking. Starting from opposing English as the medium of instruction in government schools, to opposing the auctioning of TTD lands, RRR fell into quite the coup with the party and its members. Ever since then, the CM has been ignoring him, and he’s been getting life threatening calls from his own party members.
Speaking to the media, RRR said that he’s planning to visit his constituency, Narasapuram, in the next 10 days, if central security cover is provided. RRR is currently residing in Delhi, after his own constituency MLAs threatened to burn him alive, by burning his effigies. After the local police failed to provide him with protection, RRR went to Delhi and met with the President of India, Lok Sabha speaker, and Union Home Minister, explaining to them the political situation in Andhra Pradesh.
