Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy says judiciary has lost its sanctity

It is very well known that several people, nearly 12 of them, have been listed in the FIR filed by the CBI along with the SIT, with respect to the discrepancies in the selling and buying of Amaravati lands. Last night, the High Court ordered the media to not publish the names mentioned in the FIR.

Responding to the verdict given by the High Court, Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, the advisor to the government of Andhra Pradesh has said that the Judiciary has lost its sanctity and that this is the worst judgment that the HC has passed in his lifetime.

Reddy said that while the HC tries to keep protecting the independence of the media, all of it was slashed last night, with the verdict that was given by the HC. He said that the HC was trying to protect powerful people last night, and that it wasn’t doing its duty perfectly.

Reddy questioned how it was acceptable for the HC to serve one kind of justice to the common man, and another kind of justice to powerful people. Reddy also added that this is proof enough that Y.S.Jagan Mohan Reddy has been nothing but transparent, and has not done anything with his personal agenda.

Furthermore, Reddy questioned how Bonda Umamaheswara Rao had known what the HC’s verdict would be, long before the HC had given the verdict. Reddy said that this was further proof of insider trading taking place at Amaravati.
