Salman Khan’s Being Human In Trouble?

One of the top Khans in Bollywood, Salman Khan is not only a sensational actor but also a kind-hearted person. Being Human Foundation is his charitable trust founded in 2007 which provides education and medical services to the under-privileged. But it seems like the organization is soon to get blacklisted. Here goes the reason.

In December 2016, Bruhanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) decided to start twelve Dialysis Centres in Mumbai and each will perform nearly 10000 procedures per month. On this note, the management of BMC selected Salman’s Being Human Foundation as one of the 12 centres and demanded it set up 24 machines, hire some staff for maintenance and perform the procedures. However, our Khan’s organisation failed to do so.

Annoyed by the inaction of Khan, BMC sent a show cause notice to Khan’s NGO. “Being Human was shortlisted to run the dialysis centre at Bandra (West), got paid the bank guarantee and was also granted all the required permissions to go ahead with the project. But as the project is not going forward, we have issued them a show-cause notice warning that they might be blacklisted” said an official from BMC.

In contrary, Salman’s spokespersons stated that they haven’t entered into any such MoU with BMC and some of their mandatory requirements are not fulfilled by the government officials. They stated that discussions happened but did not get materialised and a formal contract/MoU was not signed at all.
