Tollywood star couple Naga Chaitanya and Samantha shocked everyone by announcing their separation. There has been a flurry of news on the Internet over the past few days as to know why the two are splitting up. It is heard that Samantha is not ready to have children, and that is why Chaitanya wanted to break up.
Against this backdrop, producer Neelima Guna, who recently worked with Samantha, said at a press conference that ChaySam had made some key remarks on the split.
Neelima lashed out at rumours that Samantha and Chaitanya ended their marriage because the actress did not want to have a baby. She revealed that when Gunasekhar offered Shaakunthalam to the actress last year, she turned it down because she wanted to start a family with Chaitanya.
“She wanted to be a mother; she told us that was her priority. She wanted to plan a family, take a break and look after her children,” Neelima said.
Samantha and Chaitanya, who tied the knot in October 2017, had announced their separation last week in a joint statement.
