Even before joining politics, Pawan Kalyan had the ill-reputation of taking long gaps between films, not attending shoot properly and delaying the release dates. After he joined active politics, this postponement saga has become a routine for him and even his fans have got accustomed to it. ‘Sardaar Gabbar Singh’ is the best example.
Pawan Kalyan is currently shooting for ‘Katamarayudu’. Although this film’s shoot has been halted innumerable times because of Pawan’s political activities, the team is relentlessly working to ensure the film releases for Ugadhi festival. Movie lovers however have their own sweet doubts regarding the release date as they know very well about Pawan’s unpredictable nature.
At a time when no one is ready to believe that the film would make it to even Ugadhi, some reports emerged in film circles saying that the makers advanced the release date by a week. Needless to say, netizens are making fun of these reports saying they would believe the reports of postponement or even shelving of the film but not of advancing release date.
It looks like even if the makers make an official announcement, no one is ready to believe. ‘Katamarayudu’ teaser is the culprit here. It was announced to be released on the eve of Sankranthi but was postponed later to the Republic Day, then again postponed in view of ‘Silent Protest for AP Special Status’. It has been one week since that protest day and the teaser hasn’t been released yet.
As the makers continue to dodge the official announcements, movie lovers are losing the interest. Why show the hurry in announcements and postpone later to cause huge disappointments?
