Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s much awaited mythological drama, Shaakuntalam directed by ace filmmaker Gunasekhar releasing in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi on April 14th in the 3D format as well. Produced by Neelima Guna and presented by ace producer Dilraju, the film unit released the 3D trailer of the film on Tuesday. On the occassion, the team shared their excitement working for a magnum opus film.
Producer Dil Raju said, “In the history of cinema, we have increased the range of Telugu cinema. Now our films travelling all over the world. I’ve joined Shaakuntalam team for selfish reasons, not to support GunaSekhar garu. Now that our Telugu cinema has gone global, I still need to learn new things despite having produced 50 films. So I decided I needed to make great films like this in the future. This is my first step towards global cinema. I’ve learned about VFX and many more things and supported Gunasekhar garu vision.
He added “The movie is a visual wonder. On April 14th, all the families need to watch the film in theatres. There will be a surprise in the form of Allu Arha during pre climax of the film, her role is 15 min duration. Everyone will learn about love and many more things after watching the film. The duration of this movie is 2 hours and 19 minutes. We’ve taken special care that audience shouldn’t feel bored.”
Allu Arha is playing the role of King Bharata. The film has Dev Mohan, Mohan Babu, Prakash Raj, Gautami, Aditi Balan, and Ananya Nagalla in pivotal roles. Produced by Neelima Guna and presented by Dilraju. The film is bankrolled under Gunaa Teamworks in collaboration with Sri Venkateswara Creations, the movie has Manisharma’s music.
