By now, everyone knows that businessman Raj Kunda was arrested in a pornographic film racket case. Now, the latest update we hear is the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has imposed a fine of Rs 3 lakh on Shilpa Shetty Kundra, Raj Kundra and their company Viaan Industries for violating insider trading rules.
As per reports, the couple and their company have been penalised for a 3-year delay in the disclosure of an allotment of preferential shares.
On the other side, actress Shilpa Shetty has moved Bombay High Court asking for an injunction against defamatory content on the internet. She cited several reports and claimed them false, and said they are damaging her reputation.
Meanwhile, actor-model Sherlyn Chopra had applied for anticipatory bail fearing arrest in the ongoing inquiry in Raj Kundra’s pornography racket case. However, a Mumbai court rejected the bail plea.
