Starring R.Madhavan and Shraddha Srinath, ‘Maara’, the Tamil remake of Malayalam film Charlie, was released on Amazon Prime Video on Friday. The film, which has been the talk of the town since its inceptions, isn’t a frame-by-frame copy, but it has retained the magic of Charlie.
Despite working on a remake, the director Dhilip Kumar has included interesting new characters and made the film a new experience.Before the film got its digital release, lead actress Shraddha expressed how she felt working with Maddy and her on-screen chemistry with the actor.
The Jersey actress said that their onscreen chemistry worked out well in Vikram Vedha. She hoped that Maara would fulfil audience expectations on us. While speaking about, Madhavan, she said ‘he is a wonderful actor. I love his Cheli a lot. If it is remade now, I want to act as his heroine in it.’
