After almost three months of lockdown the economic fall out has still not recuperated the losses. Many sectors across the nation have been effected drastically. One of them, which is worst effected is entertainment industry where many daily wage artists couldn’t make their bread and butter. In this view, Bollywood technicians and low paid artists are currently jobless.
Siddharth Malhotra had as of late known the issue and provided monetary help to almost 200 Bollywood artists. The entertainer had donated some part of his earnings straight away into the background dancers’ account. They gave a loving response and made an exceptional video to thank Siddharth heartily. The video included a blend of Siddharth Malhotra’s hit tunes like ‘Kala Chashma’, ‘Khadke Glassy’ and ‘Kar Gayi Chull,’ while a few artists shot small dance clippings at home, which were then merged together into a ‘thank you video’ committed to the actor.
The 3 minute long video began with finger tutting and hand dance movements with a phone featuring Siddharth, then it progressed with his hit songs alongside few of the dancers’ dance steps.
They ended with a message saying “Not all angels have wings they reside among us, and one of them is our beloved charming and handsome Bollywood star Siddharth Malhotra. Thank you so much for showing your love and support to the Bollywood dancers during these tough times. We love from the bottom of the heart”.
Siddharth’s forthcoming project which is a remake of 2019 Tamil hit ‘Thadam,’ too was halted, which was scheduled for shoot in May. The film is helmed by debutant Vardhan Ketkar.
