Congress party is furiously demanding an apology from the BJP union minister of Parliamentary Affairs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi after he made a few sensational comments on the Congress leader Sonia Gandhi. The minister that “Sonia Gandhi would cry all night for a terrorist like Osama bin Laden is killed“.
“If any terrorist is killed, it is instantly linked to religion,” said the minister in a public meeting in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh on Saturday. Alleging that the opposition plays ‘politics of religion’, Naqvi said Congress’ makes empty talks on secularism and the party and all its allies are making desperate attempts to twist the words in their favour.
Congress is naturally upset with the minister’s remarks and countered his comments saying that by attacking Sonia Gandhi and senior leaders of the Congress party certain BJP leaders think they can gain more popularity in their party.
