As nominations are going to end today, political parties are bracing up for a loud and blazing political campaign. KCR is going to start his campaign with a public meeting in Khammam today and he is going to campaign in 26 constituencies, Congress too intensifying the poll campaign. While Maha Kutami took a while to finalize its candidates, it now wants to compensate that with aggressive election campaign.
As part of it, Congress is going to bring Sonia Gandhi to Telangana on Nov 23rd. This will be Sonia’s first-ever visit to the new state after Congress under her leadership had accorded the separate statehood of Telangana. Congress wants to get most out of Sonia’s visit. Also, this will be the very next day after the meeting of grand opposition at New Delhi on 22nd November presided over by Chandrababu Naidu.
Soon after Sonia’s visit to Telangana, Congress president Rahul Gandhi is going to conduct rallies in the state and campaign for Maha Kutami. Rahul is also expected to conduct road shows along with Chandrababu Naidu. As many as 18 constituencies would be covered outside Hyderabad in the roadshows alone. In addition to this, public meetings would be add-on.
Also, Congress, TDP, TJS and CPI leaders are expected to do their campaign in their own way simultaneously. Overall, Maha Kutami leaders want to send shivers down the spine of KCR. Let’s wait and see, what is in store.
