The director himself said that he has a script in mind for Chiranjeevi. He hinted that it was a socio-fantasy film on the lines of ‘Paathala Bhairavi’. There was a lot of curiosity regarding this project.

Reports arrived a few years back that the story of ‘Kalki’ was narrated to Chiranjeevi and Megastar suggested that Prabhas would be the right choice. Nag Ashwin clarified that Chiranjeevi had no connection with ‘Kalki’ and it did not go to the legendary actor at all. The story he thought for Chiranjeevi is still in the box and sources say that Vyjayanthi Movies are planning to bring it out once again.

After ‘Kalki 2’ is done, there are chances of Nag Ashwin taking up the script he readied for Chiru. But insiders reveal that it will have Charan in the lead instead of Chiranjeevi. The legendary actor is already doing ‘Vishwambhara’ and he may not touch fantasy genre any time soon. Charan never did such a project before and sources reveal that the ‘RRR’ hero might be the best option for Nag Ashwin. If it happens, the combination is going to garner a lot of attention.
