Young bollywood hero Varun Dhawan has revealed that Salman Khan had once warned to slap him for calling him ‘Uncle’.
Varun’s new film ‘Judwaa 2’, a sequel to the 90s super hit film ‘Judwaa’ starring Salman Khan was launched on Tuesday. On the occasion, Varun has recollected an unforgettable incident happened between him and the bollywood box office behemoth, Salman Khan.
Varun’s father David Dhawan was the director of Judwaa. For the celeb show of the film, the entire Dhawan family including the then 7-year-old Varun were in attendance. On the eve, when the kid Varun called Salman as ‘Uncle, the star hero softly rebuked him and asked him to call him ‘Salman Bhai’ instead of ‘uncle’. Varun also said that Salman had threatened to slap him if he calls him uncle again.
More than two decades later, Varun rose to become one of the promising young actors of bollywood and is now gearing up to step into the shoes of Salman in ‘Judwaaa’ sequel. Taapsee and Jacqueline Fernandez are playing his leading ladies.
