While Tamanna herself is basking in the glory of the success delivered by the Avantika of “Baahubali”, curly haired seductress Taapsee Pannu has something else to share with us. Sometimes even positive feedback sounds negative. And the way many girls are blasting Rajamouli for portraying Tamanna as objectified character inside the flick, definitely Taapsee’s remarks might spin a controversy.
“Characters written for heroines are so one-dimensional, where her duty is to woo the hero. Latest example is that a brilliant performer like Tamanna got nothing to do in Baahubali”, said Taapsee, in allegiance with the opinion that women doesn’t get good roles on silver screen in commercial cinema. Many are of the opinion that Tamanna’s presence has ended in the flick once Sivudu meets her and they have sex in the song ‘Pachha bottesina..’.
Taapsee however says that heroine get pampered a lot off the screen and they are treated like princess. She hopes, one day this off-screen treatment will become on-screen characters. Earlier a noted journalist and the other day a Telugu girl have condemned the act of hero disrobing Tamanna’s clothes in Baahuabli, but Taapsee hasn’t spoke much of it.
