It is known that Taapsee Pannu has teamed up with Anurag Kashyap for a movie titled Dobaaraa. This movie marks her reunion with Thappad co-star Pavail Gulati.
The latest update is that the movie has sealed a release date. Dobaaraa will hit the big screen on August 19, 2022.
Interestingly, the movie will be screened at the London Indian Film Festival, before its theatrical release on August 19.
London Indian Film Festival’s organisers shared the same update on their Instagram page. The caption to their post read, “The highly anticipated DOBAARAA, directed by @anuragkashyap10 and starring award-winning actress @taapsee is being premiered at the #LIFF2022 and is a testament of its new-age, cutting edge narrative being wholly loved and applauded all over the world.”
Dobaaraa is the official Hindi adaption of Oriol Paulo’s 2018 Spanish-language film Mirage. It has been jointly produced by Cult Movies and ATHENA.
