Target Ram Charan, not Pawan Kalyan!

A clear indication has been coming from the protesters of Samaikyandhra that their target isn’t Pawan Kalyan, but Ram Charan and his father Chiranjeevi. Although ‘Atharintiki Daredi’ is scheduled for August 9th release, none of the agitators have targeted it directly until now. On the other hand, flexes and banners of ‘Yevadu’ which is releasing on August 21st has been damaged protesting Chiru’s decision of continuing as Union Minister.

A Samaikyandhra JAC leader openly commented that they might allow the screening of Pawan’s ‘Atharintiki Daredi’, but not Charan’s ‘Yevadu’ at any cost until Chiru resigns. This is a reflection of the way people look at Pawan Kalyan and Ram Charan. While Powerstar have an identity of his own and earns respect from all sections with his honesty & ideologies, Charan is still under the shadow of Chiranjeevi.

‘Atharintiki Daredi’ producer BVSN Prasad confirms there is no official statement from Samaikyandhra JAC on disrupting the release of his movie. He says no change in the release date as of now.

Meanwhile, Dil Raju opines it’s not fair to target Charan just because his father is a politician and stresses that a film is a result of hardwork put in by hundreds of people. He appeals to the protesters to see films and politics differently.
