TDP leader L Ramana resigns to the party, to join TRS

Telangana TDP president L Ramana has resigned from the party. The resignation letter was sent to party national president N Chandrababu Naidu.

In his letter, Ramana said he has decided to join the ruling TRS party to participate in the progress of Telangana. He thanked Mr Naidu for supporting his political career for over three decades.

It is learned that Ramana met Chief Minister KCR along with Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao at Pragati Bhavan on Thursday. The CM assured him that he would be given due recognition and given political opportunities.

As per reports, the former TDP leader will join TRS in the presence of KCR next week. For some time now, the consultations are going on with Ramana.

Errabelli Dayakar Rao took the initiative and arranged the meeting with the CM. During the meeting, discussions were held on various topics like MLA ticket, current political developments and the situation of opposition in the state, among others.
