TDP MLA Ganta Srinivasa Rao Submits Resignation In Speaker Format

It is known that TDP MLA Ganta Srinivasa Rao had submitted his resignation on February 6 (Saturday) opposing the privatization of Vizag Steel Plant.

However, the MLA from the Visakhapatnam North constituency faced severe criticism for not submitting his resignation letter to the AP Legislative Assembly Speaker in the proper format. Ganta, on Friday, resubmitted his resignation to the assembly speaker in proper format as he was blamed for not doing so earlier.

“It was said that my resignation was not in an appropriate format when I resigned for the steel plant on February 6. Just now I submitted my resignation in the correct format,” he said.

Calling the steel plant as the heartbeat of Andhra Pradesh, the TDP leader said that he would now join in all agitations for preventing the privatisation of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant.
