Tej Gets Relief, Still A Long Way To Go!

Chiranjeevi’s nephew Sai Dharam Tej who is now happy to be called as Sai Tej has finally ended his marathon flop run with Chitralahari. The film has done decent business at the box office compared to his recent duds. However, this is just a relief but not a total recovery considering his previous market share.

Sai Tej’s Supreme collected around Rs. 27 crore share and his Intelligent film’s theatrical rights were sold for the same price.

But Chitralahari was sold for around Rs. 12 crore, which is less than half the price his Intelligent was sold for. Chitralahari will be a safe venture for its investors, thanks to the decent opening weekend numbers.

However, Chitralahari’s numbers are nowhere near the collections of Sai Tej’s previous hit films.

His market value has drastically fallen down and now that he has got some relief from flops, he should pick right scripts to reach his previous range. He is in talks with Maruthi for his next film.

Can Tej regain his lost ground with that film?
