Telangana Becomes The Third State To Shut Theaters

Following the deadly outbreak of the novel corona virus the Telangana cabinet meeting headed by CM KCR has decided to shut down the educational institutions, shopping malls, cinema halls in the state.

This will see an immediate effect from Saturday night to the 31st of March. Public gathering places will also be closed until then.

The board exams will get commenced as per the schedule while the educational institutions will be closed in the state till 31 March. The government is hatching plans to stop the spread of the virus.

CM KCR has called for a high-level meeting in the wake of the corona virus outbreak after the Assembly sessions. Health Minister Etela Rajender, Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar, DGP M. Mahender Reddy and other key officials attended the meeting.

While the Cabinet meeting’s outcome has resulted in shutting down the response from the Telangana Film Chamber and Telugu Film Chamber are awaiting. Once the chamber agrees to the government decision the shut down will come into effect.
