Telangana Health Bulletin Not Released – Rumours Flowing

In the wake of COVID-19 outbreak turning out deadly around the world, surely everyone in India is also equally worried. While the 21 days lockdown period is being implemented in a glitchy way because most of the people are still unaware of the deadly nature of this virus, some lapse in updates is also creating a panicky situation.

In the last 24 hours, the Telangana state saw the biggest ever spike in COVID-19 cases as almost 14 people tested positive for the virus. However, Telangana Health Ministry which releases a medical bulletin every day hasn’t released a word about it. While CM KCR confirmed about 10 cases in his press meet, there is no detail about patients, gender and age, and how they have got affected.

Since then, rumours are doing rounds that ‘community spread’ has started in the state and people living in the apartments where these positive patients have lived till date are caught in a fearful situation. Some journalists also expressed doubts on social media that the situation is going little out of control. In order to contain the rumours, and to reduce the melting down nature of people of Hyderabad, maybe medical bulletin should be released on time.

Also releasing a bulletin will alert everyone and maybe they will realise the need to follow strict social distancing.
