Telangana to keep its schools shut this year

The spread of Coronavirus continues to be rapid across the globe, with several parts of the world experiencing a very vicious second wave. As a result, places of mass gatherings are being avoided by both governments and the general public as well.

While our neighbouring state of Andhra Pradesh has been running schools every now and then, the state of Telangana has not been risking the reopening of schools.

According to the latest reports, the Educational Ministry of the state of Telangana has decided to not to reopen schools in the upcoming year as well, as the virus continues to spread. Class 1 to 5 are expected to be promoted directly, without any exams, like how it was done this past year.

The decision with respect to classes 6 to 12 is yet to be announced.
