‘I was approached to play Mahesh Babu’s Mother in ‘Srimanthudu’. But, I had to let it go as the role didn’t excite me. Willing to act in Telugu films if promising roles come my way,’ she reveals. At last, The offer went to Sukanya and that’s how ‘Peddarikam’ Combo materialized.
One must accept the fact that Mother character doesn’t have much importance in ‘Srimanthudu’. Sukanya got overshadowed by Jagapathi Babu who played Mahesh’s Father.
