Marvel Studios latest superhero film Captain Marvel started off with a bang in Indian markets. The film has netted more than Rs. 15 crore on its day 1 and is set for a strong first weekend given the positive reports from audience.
Bollywood thriller Badla also opened on a solid note and is likely to finish the weekend on a high as the word of mouth is super positive from all corners.
It is a very dull weekend for Telugu box office with no notable films hitting the marquee this Friday.
Last week’s release 118 is already into profits and is set to have another good weekend at the box office. The makers are hoping that it would pick up in overseas markets, where its business has been on the lower side till now.
All notable films have been pushed to March 22 and after because of the exams season. The film business in Telugu states will remain dull for another two weeks.
Bollywood trade has been on the rise while the Southern markets are struggling due to off season.
