Trailer Talk: Ajith Assures Lot Of Entertainment With Thunivu!

Thala Ajith is one of the top stars in the Tamil industry. The action is gearing up to entertain his fans on Pongal, one of the big seasons for the industry. As the release date is two weeks away the makers dropped the trailer. Fans have been eagerly waiting for the trailer to be released and the wait is over now.

Ajith is coming with Thinuvu for the Sankranti season and the trailer assures full entertainment. The star hero is introduced as a bank robber who barges into a bank with his gang. What happens when a bank robbery gang poses a big challenge to the authorities and the consequences that follow form the crux of the film.

As another interesting element, Ajith can be seen firing bullets wearing a Police vest hinting that he might be a cop in the past. But he loots a bank. Is he on a mission to nab the robbers by posing as a fellow robber? Or he wants to go against the system is the question the trailer gave.

We will get an answer to this once the film is released. In a couple of weeks, the film hit the theatres. However, there is a criticism that the trailer has some similarities with the Money Heist series. As the series is a global hit and many people watched it and this might work against the film.

Moreover, the film will face big competition from other biggies. In Tamil, Thunivu will lock horns with Thalapathy Vijay’s Varisu. In Telugu, the competition is even tough. In total four films are hitting the theatres for Sankranti in Telugu.

Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Veera Simha Reddy, Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Waltair Veerayya, and Vijay’s Varasudu are coming for the Sankranti season and Thginuvu should offer something more than other films to stay relevant in the box office fight.

Action Packed Money Heist thriller Thunivu is helmed by H Vinoth who earlier made films like Nerkonda Paarvain and Valimai with Thala Ajith. The duo joined hands yet again. Boney Kapoor is the producer of the upcoming film which has an ensemble cast of Manju Warrier, with Samuthirakani, John Kokken, Veera, and Bagavathi Perumal.
