When the much-talked-about ticketing issue is creating a gap between the Andhra Pradesh government and the Tollywood industry, a tweet from a Twitter account named after a Tollywood director against the issue had caught everyone’s attention. As the tweet was against the decision, it was shared widely by the netizens.
The tweet had questioned why the government is reducing the ticket prices and not the treatment costs at the private hospitals. Is the movie more important than the treatment, the post asked. The account has Matala Mantrikudu Trivikram Srinivas’s picture in the DP and many people believe that the account belongs to the director.
Netizens had liked the tweet and in the comment section, they appreciated Trivikram Srinivas for coming out to question the decision. The main twist in the tale is that the account is a fake one and the ‘Attarintiki Daredi’ director Trivikram Srinivas doesn’t even have any social media account.
One of the leading production houses in Tollywood Haarika & Hassine Creations that has been working with Trivikram over the years had stepped in and clarified the issue. In a tweet, the production house said that any official statements from Trivikram will come from the official handles of either Haarika & Hassine or Fortune Four Cinemas.
“Any official statements from #Trivikram garu will only come from @haarikahassine & @Fortune4Cinemas.He doesn’t have any social media presence. Please don’t believe in any comments made by various profiles bearing his pic/name.@AndhraPradeshCM @perni_nani @IPR_AP,” the tweet reads.
