On his first day in Office, the new United States President Donald Trump admonishes media against the coverage of the number of people attended on his inauguration day.
In his speech at CIA’s headquarters, Trump accused journalists as “the most dishonest human beings in Earth” for wrongly reporting that a very less number of people attended his inauguration, while compared with other President’s inauguration day.
Right from the days of election campaign, few media companies have been visibly hitting out against Donald. In turn, he trashed them umpteen times and now that he’s President of US, it’s going to be an all new game.
“We had a massive field of people. You saw them. Packed. I get up this morning, I turn on one of the networks, and they show an empty field,” Trump hits out at media.
He further added, “I say, wait a minute, I made a speech. I looked out, it looked like a million, million and a half people. They showed a field where there were practically nobody standing there. They (media) said, Donald Trump did not draw well. I said, it was almost raining, the rain should have scared them away, but God looked down and he said, we’re not going to let it rain on your speech”.
Trump said that he’s running a war with the media and also fore-warned them of repercussions for false reporting in future.
