Finally, renegade Congress MLA and TPCC working president Turpu Jagga Reddy appears to be having his way. After he issued an ultimatum that he would leave the party if AICC does not respond, the AICC leaders have spoken to him and urged him not to leave the party. They asked him to defer his decision for some more time.
Meanwhile, CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka met Jagga Reddy on Thursday and discussed the political developments with him. He told Jagga Reddy to reconsider his decision. MLAs Sridhar Babu and Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy too met Jagga Reddy. The AICC leaders discussed the present political situation with Jagga Reddy and heard his complaints.
In another development, Jagga Reddy organized a meeting of his supporters in Sangareddy to chalk out his future course of action. He would discuss the issue with his supporters and then make a decision. The Congress exuded the confidence that Jagga Reddy would realise the importance of staying back in the party.
Jagga Reddy has raised a banner of revolt against the leadership of TPCC chief Revanth Reddy. He has skipped several meetings called by Revanth Reddy. On Thursday too he skipped a very important meeting called by Revanth Reddy.
