Tv actress Divya Bhatnagar well known for her role in “Yeh Rishta Kay kehlata hain” serial passed away at 34 due to pneumonia triggered by covid-19. In last week of November, her health worsened and was put on ventilator support. Divya’s family had also shifted her to a different hospitals to ensure better medical care for her when the condition turned critical.
In the last week of November, Divya shared a screenshot from one of her video calls on Instagram and wrote, “Hi my Instagram family. Pray for my speedy recovery. I love you all.”
Divya’s brother had reported to a news agency on December 1, “We have shifted Divya to another hospital. She was hospitalised on November 26 and tested positive for COVID-19 on November 28. She was already suffering from pneumonia, which has worsened owing to coronavirus”.
Devoleena Bhattacharjee penned an emotional note saying, “You were the one who stood by when no one been for me. I know life was hard for you …the pain is intolerable to you but now you must have been in a better place fee from all sorrows and pain. You will be missed and remembered”, she shared by sharing a memorable pic of both. Like wise her serial costars, family and friends mourned her shocking death.
Reportedly, she was admitted on non-invasive ventilation to aid her breathing. But had been on ventilator for so long owing to the exertion of shifting hospitals as pneumonia aggravated.
