Corona has literally reshuffled the schedules of all the films. The impact is evident now as no one is able to say which movie will get ready for release? When will a particular movie go to the sets? When will a film release? etc. No one is able to predict these things.
At this juncture, few Tollywood analysts opined that Prabhas’ ‘Radhe Shyam’, Megastar’s ‘Acharya’ may hit the screens in 2021 Sankranti season.
As per the inside sources, there is a talk that these two films may not make it to the Sankranti.
‘Acharya’ team has to shoot for more than 60 days. Post-production will take one and a half to two months as per them. Moreover, it is a known thing that Ram Charan is doing a cameo in ‘Acharya’. As ‘RRR’ itself landed in troubles, when Ram Charan is going to give dates to ‘Acharya’ has become a million-dollar question. If ‘Acharya’ misses Sankranthi, it is tough for the makers to find another suitable release date.
Prabhas’ ‘Radhe Shyam’ also facing a similar issue. The shoot of the movie will be wrapped up soon but visual effects work will take more time. So, Prabhas’ film may not reach the deadline of Sankranti. The big-ticket film left now is Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Vakeel Saab’.
Many people thought that Anil Ravipudi’s ‘F3’ may target Sankranti season. But there is a talk that Venkatesh reportedly decided not to attend shoots until the corona vaccine comes into the market. So ‘F3’ is out of the race.
On the other hand, Pawan’s devotee Nithiin’s film ‘Rang De’ may target Sankranti release this time.
