If prevailing conditions in Andhra Pradesh are anything to go by, Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan are likely to give a sweet shock to BJP very soon. Experts opine that Chandrababu’s announcement on 5 percent reservation to Kapu community and his latest comments on the Centre over Polavaram National Irrigation Project may impress Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan who is also on the same boat.Pawan, who supported Modi and BJP during 2014 polls, have been expressing his strong dissent since BJP went back on its promises to the truncated state of AP. Pawan has been criticizing BJP in his own way whenever there is a chance.
On the other hand, Chandrababu Naidu is said to be serious over Centre its lame support. Naidu is of the opinion that Centre is not doing works for the State and it is not allowing the State to complete the works in stipulated time. Since Chandrababu has promised to the people of AP that Polavaram would be built by 2019 polls, Naidu has taken a serious note of Centre’s restrictions to AP state government.
TDP’s rift with BJP on Polavaram and Kapu reservations may bring TDP and Janasena together and this may possibly lead to their alliance in the coming general elections.
