Even before the controversy erupted during the election of Telugu Movie Artistes’ Association (MAA) is forgotten, the Tamil Nadu Movie Artistes’ Association, Nadigar Sangam, is following the suite. An ugly tussle is going on in between the two parties of Nadigar Sangam where both the stake holders are at loggerheads.
Going into details, the present president of Nadigar Sangam, Sarath Kumar, and present secretary Radha Ravi are trying to construct a multiplex in Nadigar Sangam land and even signed an agreement with SPI Cinemas regarding the same.
This didn’t gone well with actors like Vishal, Nassar who are strongly opposing the proposal to build multiplex. Instead, they’ve been pestering to construct a building for the members of Nadigar Sangam. Steeply divided on these, both parties are now lashing out at each other and arguments are hotting up.
Vishal has decided to contest in the coming Nadigar Sangam election and going to take on Sarath Kumar. Vishal has got some support from his fellow actors, colleagues. Many are drawing comparisons to Vishal and Rajendra Prasad, the newly elected president of MAA who defeated Jaya Sudha with a great majority.
