The hospitals dedicated to treating the Covid-19 hospitals in the country running out of medical oxygen have reached an alarming level. The medical facilities facing the shortage of medical oxygen are resulting in patients losing their lives.
One such unfortunate was reported in Tamil Nadu at the state-run hospital in Chengalpattu on Wednesday, where at least 11 Covid-19 patients breathed their last with an alleged shortage in oxygen.
The incident took place during the early hours of Wednesday. As a horrific incident, one after the other, 11 patients have breathed their last at the medical facility.
The family of the deceased alleged that the patients died, due to the shortage of oxygen supply. However, the hospital authorities rubbished the allegations and said they have the medical supply.
The other day, 12 people died in Karntaka’s Chamrajnagar district with the shortage of oxygen reportedly. A total of 1444 patients are undergoing treatment at the facility. 24 of them lost their lives.
