The coronavirus is booming in India. Despite more than three lakh cases and thousands of deaths being reported across the country, the central government is not taking any action to curb the spread of the virus.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi made it clear that it is the will of the states to take any action. The central government is reluctant to take a tough decision even though the corona is creating turmoil in the country.
Analysts say that the results of the Assembly elections in four states and one Union Territory are an obstacle for the Union govt to take a tough decision. Hence it is being speculated that the decision on curbing the spread of corona will be taken after May 2.
