Uttam Kumar Reddy trying to bring out ‘Real numbers’ in Telangana

During this critical lockdown period, Telangana Chief Minister K Chanda Sekhar Rao’s government has decided to give 12 kgs of rice to the poor people as an aid but the Telangana Congress Chief Uttam Kumar Reddy revealed some real numbers criticizing these decisions.

Uttam said that there was a huge delay and discrepancies in the distribution of 12 kg free rice per person among BPL families and as the cost of 1kg rice is jus 1Rs, that means the TRS government is giving Rs.6 per month to the white ration cardholders.

The TPCC chief even alleged that none of the migrant workers had received the 10 kg rice and Rs 500 cash even after many ‘tall claims’ from KCR. Reddy even charged that none of the BPL families had received the Rs 1500 financial assistance.

Along with Uttam Kumar, another senior Congress Party leader Mohammed Ali Shabbir demanded that the State government to announce a relief package to the people. With the new demands and the revelation of the real number from the Uttam Kumar and co, the people are in doubt with the TRS’s determination in the fight with COVID-19.
