For the unversed, Vaisshnav Tej who made his debut with box office blockbuster Uppena has already completed shooting for his second film which is helmed by Krish.
The Krish directorial hit the floors immediately after the lockdown regulations were lifted last year and the unit completed the shooting part in under 2 months.
Krish, who also co-produced the film on a low budget wanted to sell it off to an OTT platform and even held talks with Netflix regarding the same. However, the tremendous box office success of Uppena has changed the equation.
Vaisshnav Tej’s debut film has grossed over Rs 50 crores in just 3 days and this is a mighty rare achievement. Krish is now trusting in Vaisshnav’s market and wants to skip OTT release, and give the film a theatrical release.
Krish will be taking the final call in this regard very soon and an official announcement will be made correspondingly. The film had completed post-production and is ready for release whenever need be. Rakul Preet Singh plays the female lead.
