Dil Raju was initially very much interested in releasing Vakeel Saab this Sankranti. He felt that the Pawan Kalyan starrer would have the advantage of being the first A-lister to release in theaters after lockdown. However, Dil Raju seems to have changed his mind now.
With so much uncertainty over the potential reopening of theaters and the inevitable recession in theatrical business, Dil Raju wants to wait till situation is favorable.
The star producer is confident that Vakeel Saab will garner humongous pre-release buzz whenever it releases. So, he doesn’t want to rush the release as no body knows if audience will be ready to go back to theaters in January amid Covid-19 crisis.
In all likelihood, Vakeel Saab will be out in theaters next Summer. As per early estimates, the film is likely to be released in the month of April next year.
Dil Raju will be continually assessing the situation and lock the right release for Vakeel Saab.
