Vamsi Paidipally Takes An Aggressive Approach On Criticism!

After delivering a couple of successful movies in Telugu, well-known director Vamsi Paidipally decided to try his luck in Kollywood. He narrated a script to Vijay and impressed him. Produced by Dil Raju, they made ‘Varisu’ which was released during the Sankranti weekend. There was a lot of hype on the movie and it opened to above average reviews.

While the movie is collecting huge, a lot of critics and audience are claiming that Thalapathy Vijay’s energetic acting and screen presence is the main reason for its success. They are criticising the predictable narration and emotions with reminded people of soap operas. When asked about the same, the ‘Maharshi’ director seems to have lost his cool.

He claimed that it is very tough to make a film these days and stated that big actors like Vijay sacrifice a lot to make movies. He says that the filmmaking is not a joke. He adds that one should not degrade TV serials as they are keeping a lot of people engrossed in the evenings every day. He even said that one should not have negativity as it eats up people and clarified that he left the software job to work in movies out of passion.

While some agree with what the director is saying, a lot of people are criticising his aggression and claiming that he is unable to take criticism.

Vamshi Paidipally along with Hari and Ashishor Solomon wrote the story. Karthick Palani is taking care of the cinematography, wherein KL Praveen is the editor. Sri Harshith Reddy and Sri Hanshitha are the co-producers of the film. Sunil Babu & Vaishnavi Reddy are the production designers. Thaman is the music director while Rashmika Mandanna is the heroine in this flick. Prabhu, Sarath Kumar, Prakash Raj, Jayasudha, Srikanth, Shaam, Yogi Babu, Sangeetha and Samyuktha are the prominent cast of ‘Varisu’.
