I have total free hand in selection of stories, no one involves in my work, confesses Varun Tej. His father Naga Babu has no role in finalizing a movie. In the same breath, he adds that he doesn’t interfere in a director’s work once the script is locked.Varun Tej, the tall and handsome actor, will appear as astronaut in “Antariksham” that is hitting the theaters this Friday. This is Tollywood’s first space thriller.
“This genre has not been attempted before. All those who want to watch something different would connect with Antariksham. I am also happy to say that we have made a film that Telugu cinema can feel proud of,” he says about the movie.He further adds that the film has more than 1000 Computer Generated shots and entire second half runs in the space.
Coming to his career in general, he said he had made mistakes in selecting stories when he worked with senior directors like Puri Jagannadh and Sreenu Vaitla. His choices with young directors proved to be right.
