The Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) had nominated Ram Nath Kovind as the presidential candidate back in 2105. Given the strength the saffron party enjoys, Ram Nath Kovind has won the elections and assumed office. Since 2017, he has been rendering his services in his highly respectable position.
