Senior Congress leader V Hanumantarao recently spoke to the media in Hyderabad asking how a new committee could be announced without discussing the problems in the party. VH demanded that the views of seniors should be considered before announcing the TPCC chief. VH’s letter to Manikam Tagore, in charge of state affairs, became sensational.
VH said that the Congress party was losing every election in the state. He questioned why the party did not conduct reviews on at least one defeat despite the number of defeats.
VH opinioned that the BCs were moving away from the Congress party with the party’s approach. He said no new committee had been announced in Telangana since 2014. He blamed the Congress party for not doing any review even after the defeat of senior leader Janardhan Reddy in Nagarjuna Sagar. He said he was not against anyone. He, however, said that he was doing his part to save the party in difficult times.
